Betty Fairly Obituary
She went to school in Cotulla, Texas. She married Hugh Fairly on July 3, 1964. Betty received a Master's degree from Southwest Texas State University and worked at the university for many years, and then became a homemaker and helped with the family business. She loved teaching her arthritis water aerobics class at Central Texas Medical Center. Her favorite pastime was going to all the Texas State University football games every year and cheering so loud she would lose her voice. This past year, she enjoyed going to Kayla's softball games.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents (Aldon and Margie Garms), sister (Aileen Garms). She is survived by her husband of 58 years Hugh Fairly, daughter Janet Wisian, son Kenneth Fairly (Marisa), sisters Frances Jackson (Dale), Kathy Hill (Grover); grandchildren Justin Wisian (Elizabeth), Carter Wisian, Taylor Fairly and great grandchild Kayla Wisian; and her loving fur babies Midnight, Baby and Frosty.
Visitation will begin at 1:00pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00pm, on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Pennington Funeral Home, 323 N. Comanche St., San Marcos, Texas.
In lieu flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation to the animal charity of your choice.

Janet, Kenneth, Hugh, Carter, Taylor, Justin, so very sorry for the loss of your precious mother, wife, grandmother, Betty. I enjoyed the times I had with her and your family, and will always carry them in my heart. She was so kind to me and fun to be around! May she rest in peace. Big hugs, you are in my prayers...
