Janeice Ayers Obituary

Janeice Ayers, age 83, passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving Day, November 27th, 2025, in her home. She was born in Pasadena, Texas on December 5th, 1941, to Raymond and Rose Johnson.

Janeice greatest joy and achievement was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful partner for 61 years.

A longtime resident of San Marcos, Texas. She is survived by her mother Rose Johnson, her devoted husband Marion Ayers, her children Craig Ayers (and wife Gretchen) of Pflugerville, Texas, and Troy Ayers (and wife Tracey) of Edmond, Oklahoma, and three grandchildren Morgan Taylor (and Husband Josh), Dylan Ayers, and Tessa Ayers and her two great grandchildren Jett and Rafe Taylor. She is also survived by her two brothers Mickey and Bobby Johnson, of San Marcos.

Janeice was a stay at home mother and together with Marion, raised their two sons in the ranch life. Janeice had a hearty laugh, great sense of humor and a very generous heart. She will be missed greatly.

Janeice will be remembered for her kindness, devotion and boundness love for her family and friends. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and family she loved so dearly.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 08, 2026, at 2:00pm at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas. Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Pennington Funeral Home. Please visit www.penningtonfuneralhome.com to sign the guestbook. December 5, 1941 - December 27, 2025

Pee Wee, I'm so sorry to hear about Jan. I always enjoyed running into you both and visiting. She was always a ray of sunshine with a smile on her face. Please give her mother my condolences. She lived across the street from my mother many years ago.
