Rosemary Myers

1942 - 2023

Early on 27 February 2023, Rosemary Irene Myers (Crouch), blessed daughter in Christ, loving wife, and mother, passed away at the age of 80.

Rosemary was born on 29 October 1942 at #1 Trench Road, Tonbridge, England, to Rose Elizabeth Mary (Jenner) and Son (Osmond Percival Crouch). On 6 August 1960, she married Britton Robert Myers of Lubbock, TX, in Tonbridge. They stayed in Leicester, England, where they lived before Britt was discharged from the U.S. Air Force. Rosemary returned with Britt to the United States, where they lived for the remainder of their lives, raising their two boys, Samuel James, and Christopher Robert Percival.

During the early years of their marriage, Rosemary loved to travel and visit all over the U.S. and abroad. They lived in St. Louis, New Orleans, Lubbock, and San Marcos. Rosemary LOVED Arts and Crafts. She was equally talented at oil painting as she was knitting and quilting. She was an amazing gardener, and her yard was full of life. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes managing a family business and their personal affairs. She was proud to be called a housewife and, in so doing, became a homemaker.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and a wonderful friend to so many people. She was a gracious host, kind and generous to all, and she will be sorely missed!

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She is survived by her two sons, Samuel and Christopher, five grandchildren, three brothers, and three sisters, as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, 9 March 2023, at the First Baptist Church of Gonzales, 422 Saint Paul Street, Gonzales, TX 78629, at 11:00 a.m.
