August Waltrip, passed away on November 23, 2017 at Watsonville Community Hospital at the age of 75. Born in Santa Cruz on October 4, 1942. He currently resided in Watsonville with his son August Jr and wife Kerry Waltrip.
August worked at Salz Tannery, McCormick and Fresh Express. His hobbies included fishing, gambling, motorcycles and spending time with his family.
August is survived by his sister, Judy Lass; sons, August Waltrip Jr and his wife, Kerry, William Waltrip and Raymond Waltrip and his wife Tammy, Gary and his wife Kathern, Michael and his wife Bree and Jayson Waltrip, and his two ex-wife's Betty Waltrip, Linda Martinez. He is also survived 22 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 niece and 1 nephew.
