Why I thought about you today and tried to remember the name of your salon and your last name is a mystery to me and will be for the rest of my life.
I am so grateful that I will be able to grief your passing, surrounded by your family and friends on Thursday. I was a client of yours for many, many years, often I said, Carolyn, please safe me and you did. I remember you as a fighter who never gave up, I guess we Tauruses have that in common. RIP Carolyn.

Iam so sorry to hear about Carolyn's passing, Please accept my condolences to her family, I have very fond memories of her, as she used to babysit for my brothers and i when we were little, she loved to do my hair and put little rosebuds in it. she had a wonderful smile, and a very hearty laugh. she was a sweet person. I just heard of her passing. she will always be with you.

I always liked listening to her point of view on KSCO during her time on the radio station. She was smart and quick with her points of view. She really had a lot of influence and spoke her mind. Never new her personally, but met her during sheriff-coroner election in 1994.

Carolyn started cutting my hair when I was 4 years old near the old Disco store in Capitola, and was my hairdresser until I left SC at age 26. She remained friends with my mother for many years and I was fortunate enough to see her and get one of her wonderful hugs at my father's memorial in 2009. She was a unique and giving woman, and always fun to be around. My condolences to her family and friends.
