Resident of Santa Cruz
Daniel Passino, 57, died at Dominican Hospital, Santa Cruz, on May 26. Born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, he was the second of three sons of James and Margaret Ann (Johnson) Passino. After receiving his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin, he moved to California, working as a systems analyst for Lockheed Martin, Netflix and as a private contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Janet and is survived by two brothers, Michael of Waukesha and Brian of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and two nephews, Andrew and Juan Passino. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Sunday, June 14, at 6:00 pm at Natural Bridges State Park. Daniel will be buried at a later date in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
