Eugene Williams Obituary

Eugene Williams
April 5, 1936 - December 4, 2020
Resident of Stockton, CA
Eugene John Williams, (E. J.), 84, of Stockton, California, passed away in California on December 4, 2020.
E. J. was born in San Jose California on April 5, 1936. He started off as an electrician and then moved on to become a General Contractor in 1962. He began moving apartment buildings, duplexes, triplexes and single family homes. Most of these were kept as rental properties. In 1978 he started constructing condominiums, single family homes and a warehouse. In 1995 he started purchasing apartment complexes, doing renovations and then keeping them as rentals.
E. J. married Anita Zaro in 1957 and they had three children together. Later he met his beloved "Tinkerbell", Tinky Grunberg. With whom he shared over 30 years together.
He was an unforgettable person. His love for live and fun knew no boundaries. He lived life to the fullest and lived it "his way". He was a one of a kind boss. Making lunch every day for his crew and remembering who didn't like what on their sandwiches. He was up before dawn everyday working, and worked hard. At noon he had put in his 8 hours and was off for the day. He loved boating, hunting, gambling and spending time with friends and family, and of course Baby and Coco! His sense of humor and witty sayings will be remembered forever.
He is survived by his love, Tinky Grunberg, his three children, Stephanie Nazzisi, Elizabeth Williams and Rozalyn Mendence. His brothers, Dennis Harker, Ron Harker and Kevin Harker. His step children, Todd and Gina Rupp. His grandchildren, Jason Nazzisi, Mitch Nazzisi, Neal Nazzisi, Corey Nazzisi, Joey Mendence, Jessika Mendence, Janessa Mendence and Ashley Frye. His great grandchildren, Connor Nazzisi, Maddox Nazzisi, Alyssa Nazzisi, Gianna Nazzisi, Ariella Nazzisi, Roman Nazzisi, Paige Nazzisi and Easton (lil E. J.) Frye.
The funeral service will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home, Chapel of the Oaks, on Wednesday, December 16th at 1:00. Oak Hill is located in San Jose at 300 Curtner Ave. It will be an outside service with up to 100 in attendance.
Due to Covid his celebration of life will be held when all of his friends and family can attend. Date is TBD.

Roz I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. Being with EJ was always a good time. I don't know who had more fun with him, my mom Marlene, in his hot tub in Discovery Bay, my husband Rich with him and Pat DiManto at Lost Isle or me cooking for him in Santa Cruz! He was FUN! I hope all the wonderful memories you have of your dad bring you great comfort and joy as you celebrate his life, a life well lived.
