Hedwig Alber Obituary
Hedwig Alber, beloved mother of Ruth M. Goerling of Santa Cruz and Eugene Alber of San Dimas, California, passed away on December 27, 2007 in Santa Cruz. She was 101 years old. Her family will forever cherish the fond memories of her love of animals and her talents at gardening. She also enjoyed the topic of politics, as she witnessed many world events in her long and blessed life.
Hedwig is also survived by her two grandchildren, Marion Jansen of North Carolina and Raymond Alber of Walnut, California, along with numerous loving great grandchildren. A private committal will take place at a later date under the direction of Benito and Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel.

A woman named Hedwig Alber used to live in our house before my parents bought it long ago in Pacific Palisades. I would really appreciate it if someone could let us know if this is the same person. It is such a rare name that it must be the same person, esp since the Palisades is not that far from Santa Cruz. I posted a similar question in 2021 and i don't recall if someone was able to clarify. Thank you.

Could you please let me know if this is the same Hedwig Alber who owned and lived in the home that we bought in 1969, (and have since lived in), from a woman with the exact same name ? Our home is at 16907 Livorno Drive in Pacific Palisades. I've been trying to figure this out for many years. Thank you...
