Jett is known by many as the little boy who loved green, rainbows, sparkly dinosaurs, play dough, muddy puddles, and had the "greatest ideas". He would always say "I have the greatest greatest idea". Jett was a magical little boy who spent countless hours riding his big wheels jeep around his families large property in Corralitos, loved playing with his favorite best friend Taylor who he often said "I'm going to marry her when I grow up". He loved to try on her tap shoes and he gave quite a performance. He spent hours doing magic tricks and was constantly making people laugh with his wise cracks and one liners. He called his mom his "best girl" and he would count the minutes until he would get to see his daddy after work. Jett's short five and half years on this earth left an impact on so many.
Jett Bruce Ramsey was the youngest of three boys to Chris and Amy Ramsey. Jett passed away in the arms of his daddy after and 18 month battle with Medulloblastoma (brain cancer). Jett was so loved by his family, friends, teachers, and by the nurses and doctors he grew to love. Jett smiled and laughed until the very end. His fight inspired so many and his love for and curiosity for Jesus gives his family peace that they will see him again one day in heaven.
Jett leaves behind his most loving parents Amy and Chris Ramsey, devoted grandparents Debbie Harlan of Aptos, David and Donna Humphreys of Reno, Shane and Bruce Ramsey of Santa Cruz. Brothers Christian Humphreys and Jack Ramsey and several special aunties, uncles and cousins. Jett's love was so bright. May you remember him for his giggles, sass, and magic…. And don't forget… his really amazing ideas.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 18 at 11am at Twin Lakes Church in Aptos. Please wear your favorite shade of green. In Leau of flowers please consider donating to the Friends of Santa Cruz County Park who our dedicating the Hidden Beach park in Jett's Honor. Or Jacob's Heart in Watsonville.
