Leonard Kendy Obituary

Leonard Kendy passed away from natural causes in Monterey. He loved life and was reluctant to leave.
Len was born in New York, served in WWII, and had a four-decade career in engineering before he happily retired to Soquel.
In retirement Len played golf most every day. He regularly dashed to the Silver Spur "to get a good parking space" and to have breakfast with the best people in town. He was an avid builder of model airplanes—a hobby he first began in his youth. He played piano and guitar in a number of styles.
Len is survived by his former wife Diane as well as daughter Eloise (Tim Byron) of Helena, son Jason (Toshihiko Hashimoto) of Tokyo, and brother Arthur of New York. Len took great pride in the lives of each.
A memorial will be held in Santa Cruz post pandemic.
