Mario Giovacchini Obituary

Mario Luigi Giovacchini, 85 of Watsonville passed away on January 14, 2024, surrounded by family. He was born on March13, 1938 to Guido and Elana Giovacchini in San Jose, CA. Mario attended local schools and graduated from Santa Clara High. After graduating high school Mario became a Cosmetologist. He then taught his love of hair through elaborate hair shows and opened his very own beauty college, Mario relocated to Santa Cruz County in the late 70's opening Master Hairdressers in Aptos and operated it for over 30 years. His hobbies included RC Model Airplanes and Cooking. He is preceded in death by his parents Guido and Elana, his Son Dino and his beloved Dog Max. He is survived by his daughter Tina, (Greg) grandchildren Nautica, Cristian and Dallas, Son Anthony Sisters Marie Lara, Sylvia Beccaria and many nephews and nieces. Services will be Monday January 29, 2024, at Santa Clara Mortuary 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara at 11:00am. Graveside Services are across the street at 12:30. In lieu of flowers Donations to Hospice of Santa Cruz are preferred.
