Almost 50 years ago we moved into our first home on Mangrum Dr. in Santa Clara. Hondo, Judy and Tiffini were our neighbors. That was a very close neighborhood and all of us use to party, camp, and play hard together. Most of us still keep in touch. Tiffini and our daughter Judy were the same age and walked to school together. Joette and our daughter Michelle were later born just a couple months apart. These were the years where most young couples were just working hard to support our families so we did a lot of things together just to save money. As years went by and we all moved in different directions we still continued to stay friends. Later Shaemus joined the family and he fit right in with the family and friends. When Judy passed away at a young age we were all devastated but welcomed Kathy a few years later and she and Hondo were very happy together. After we all retired and had more time on our hands we began to travel together. We have great memories of New Orleans, Alaska, The Fall Colors, New York and other shorter trips together on the West Coast. Hondo was a special friend and he will be missed.
