Peter Costello passed away at the age of 70 in Santa Cruz, California.
Peter was born in San Francisco, California to Catherine Ann (Nealon) and Raymond Edward Costello. Raised in Menlo Park, California, he attended College of San Mateo and Canada College. In 1993, he married Patricia Costello, who he met volunteering for the Surfrider Foundation in Santa Cruz. An artist, graphic designer, and illustrator, Peter had his own art studio and worked locally at West Marine, Cabrillo College, UC Extension, and Giro. Peter was often out surfing, taking photographs, biking, sailing, and watching the waves.
Peter is survived by his stepson John Dylan Bergmann.
A memorial service will be held this spring.
