I spent some happy times with the brothers and Uncle Bob when I lived next door to Bob and Jeanette Hack. Sorry to hear of "Dickie"s passing.

Richard was a lively guy and lots of fun. He had a double ended ketch that we use to go out on. One 4th of July in the early 70s he took out a bunch of people to watch the fireworks they use to fire off from the boardwalk. There were a bunch of kids below and they were using the battery powered lights all evening. When it came time to go back to the harbor the batteries were too dead to start the motor. We had to paddle all the way back and didn't get in until around 4:00AM. He never quit cracking jokes all the time we paddled. Richard was a great man who will be missed by so many.
