Bob recieved my "BEYOND WORDS AWARD" for his guidance.
He saved my life during a very difficult period. His wisdom and support will never be forgotten. His legal support plus just being just simply a truly great man will always be remembered. A true class act. Rest in peace Bob.

Bob helped me in so many ways nearly 20 years ago with some TBI accident recovery stuff. If I was in the area I would certainly attend his celebration of life. He was such an incredible person and he will live on in the hearts of others!

Bob has been a friend for about 65 years and will be terribly missed. My entire family loved him.
We spent many evenings sitting around the kitchen table talking, arguing, and laughing.
We cruised Santa Cruz and the valley in his white Lincoln. Went on dates and to operas in San Francisco in that "big boat".
He was a great guy with a terrific sense of humor and a big heart. He will be missed by many.

Bob was a treasured friend since 1957. My parents, my four siblings and my kids loved and admired him, his drive and his unquenchable curiosity. He was a Santa Cruz fixture that will be sorely missed.

Bob was incredibly kind to me in high school and treated me as a human being - not adult, not kid. Just from one human to another. And he wasn't shy about acknowledging me. After a school board meeting that I also attended, he gave me a big hug. And astonished everyone standing around. When I just couldn't bear the "senior party" because I just didn't feel accepted by my classmates, he made available his home in BC so we could hang out. When I contacted him a few years back, just out of the blue, we carried on a conversation as if nothing had happened. The world will be a poorer place without him.

I remember Bob Ludlow from the years I lived in Ben Lomond as a teen. He was a legend for having overcome all odds to go to law school and had become the Public Defender. I remember seeing him with his beautiful wife and children and thinking, "You really can do anything with your life." What an inspiration he has been as a man! My condolences to his wife and children.
