Robin O Wildey left this world in the early morning of January 6th in his mountain home with his wife of 42 years by his side. A smiling heart and his roaring laughter made Robin a friend to all. He lived a proud, honest, honorable life full of love and family. Robin was a admirable man and had been a role model to many. His bravery and strength was inspiring as he was always helping and giving all that he had to anyone in need from family to friends to a stranger in distress. He showed a rare kindness and compassion that will be missed greatly in this world.
Born and raised in San Jose, CA. He grew up fishing and diving off the coast. Joining the army at 17 Robin was stationed and served all over the world. He specialized in heavy artillery and rockets training many and becoming a accomplished decorated solider. He was honorably discharged after fulfilling his service to the country.
At the tender age of twenty three he met his one and only love Debbie. Moving to Santa Cruz they would spend over 40 years together creating a wonderful life. In 1999 Robin and Debbie purchased their little slice of heaven in the Summit mountains of Santa Cruz. Their dreams coming true as they homesteaded a life together creating a utopia of beauty complete with vast ocean views, ponds ,gardens and rolling meadows. Having this dream become reality was second only to his greatest accomplishment & biggest pride in life his children Scoey, Rory, Levi, Murphy and Lia. Through his kids he also shared in five magnificent grandchildren Connor, Marcella, Bode, Jitae and Madalynn. It's for his kids and grandkids that he worked so hard to leave legacy of a better life and giving them the choice of living a self sufficient life style full of beauty and oneness with nature.
He is survived by mother Poppy Lynch, children & grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father Captain Robin Wildey and brother Mark Wildey. Also his love Debbie who we lost three years ago, may they both finally rest in peace together.
