Resident of Santa Cruz
Ronnie passed away on Dec 22, 2012 at the Valley Hospital in Santa Clara. He was 51. He had been ill for the past two years and had been residing at the skilled nursing facility in Santa Cruz because he had become paralyzed due to an infection.
He is survived by his father, Sonny and mother Dian Beller, his sister Diana Walker Crow and her husband Sandy. His nieces and nephew Jenna and Andrew Walker, Amy Beller Dilts Perez and his great nephew Schaun Dilts. Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother Jerry in 1998.
Ronnie was born at the Sister's Hospital in Santa Cruz and went to Branciforte Elementary School, Branciforte Jr High and Marello Prep High School. He was really good in sports and played little league and minor league baseball, as well as Pop Warner Football.
The family is honoring his wishes and have him laid to rest with other family members at the Oakwood Memorial Park on Paul Sweet Road. Rather than a memorial service Ronnie wants everyone to remember him hitting grand slam home runs and catching touchdown passes!

I walked with his sister at graduation at B40. Still remember the lavender dress. Life flies by. Live everyday like it's the last, because it might be. Another scar on the heart. Sorry for your loss.

I first meet Ronnie in high school, he was such a stud, some one you heard about before you ever meet them. Someone who we all gravitated towards. A huge, unbelievable spirit that was always just a legend. I meet him again later in life, after we both had sadness and life-changing experiences. We were happy to see each other and happy to remember our pasts. He never wavered in his love, passions or zest for life. He taugh me at the the lowest time in my life that things could still go on. His love for life will not be wasted. He was a great spirit that will never be forgotten in my heart. He touched everyone that knew him, one way or another. I will miss him and never, ever forget him. Rest in Peace Ron.
