Resident of Watsonville
Services will be held this Thursday for Longtime Watsonville resident Ron DeGroodt who passed away at Watsonville Community Hospital. He was 64 years old. Born in Germany, Ron was a resident of Watsonville for the past 51 years. He was employed with Farmers Brothers Coffee Company for over 23 years and leaves many customers, colleagues, and friends who will miss his warm and friendly personality.
Ron is survived by his soul mate of over 30 years, Lupe DeGroodt, his five children: Ignacio, Laura, Jason, Jeremy, and Haley along with his many loving grandchildren.
His funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church
(2401 E. Lake Ave)Watsonville on Thursday, December 9, 2021 beginning at 10 a.m.
