Turlock
Kimi was born in Watsonville, CA to Toshimi and Kimiko Miyasaka and passed away at the age of 89 after a long extended illness. She was raised in Morgan Hill and also spent time in Chicago, IL. Kimi was a survivor being in an internment camp and the great depression. She later returned to Watsonville where she met and married her husband Asaji Yotsuya in 1958. In 1969, they settled in Turlock where she remained until her husband's death in 2004.
Kimi was a member of the Soroptimist club of Turlock and the June McVeigh dance group also in Turlock. She enjoyed Karaoke, playing the organ and traveling with Asaji.
She is survived by her children Leslie Yotsuya and Mark Yotsuya; siblings Helen Nakano, Timothy Miyasaka; grandchildren Wesley Winner, Max Montagna and Miyasaka Montagna. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Asaji Yotsuya and parents.

Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 3:00-5:00p.m.
Funeral will also be held at Allen Mortuary on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 10:00a.m. with reception to follow at Allen Event Center 239 N Broadway, Turlock. Private interment will be at Turlock Memorial Park. Please share your condolences at www.AllenMortuary.com
