It is 2025, and I still think of Timmy. It does not matter that the last time I saw him was in June of 1975, he is in my memory. What hurts is that his life was cut short. The missing 3rd Firestone brother and I know it has to hurt John and Steve a lot more no matter how much time passes. Losing a sibling and then going through life, year after year minus their aliveness is a chronic feeling of being both lost and found, simultaneously. Something as enlightening as looking at a sunrise or sunset is off when you remember your sibling can't ever again be standing next to you, no matter your memories.

Dear Firestone Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. I remember Timmy as a happy person living in Morristown, NJ with his brothers and Mother. I visited their house often because I was sweet on his brother, John. I remember him in Santa Cruz, CA, when I lived with the Firestone Family in 1974. Timmy was kind, funny and put up with me with brotherly humor. I have often thought of all of the Firestones with gratitude over the years. At the time I lived with this generous family, I did not understand what a gift it was, yet their influence has given me an understanding in how to a live a successful and happy life. I am sorry that Timmy's beautiful life was shortened and that his family will miss his uplifting personality and smile. My heart goes out to all of you.
In peace, Debbie Rolio

I am so sorry to hear of Tims passing. He was one of my best friends when I lived in the Bay area and a groomsman at my wedding. Even though it has been many years since we have talked I can still hear his quiet laugh and see his gentle smile.
