Tyana and I met in 4th grade. We were best friends until she died. She was my matrone of honor when I married my husband. Over the years we kept in touch and were able to get together when I was able to get to San Jose. I tried to call her that January to tell her that Gary had died on Nov. 4th and hoping we could get together. I remenber how she felt after John died and I needed her wisdom. But instead I found out she had passed Jan.1st a month after Gary died. I miss them so much.

Tyana was my best friend growing up. I was unable to attend her wedding because I was at college in Denver. I was very sad to miss it. To my great joy she agreed to be my matron of honor. Mrs. Newcomb, her mother, had a lovely luncheon for my attendents. I tried to call her to let her know that my husband (Gary) had passed away in November. I was hoping we could spend some time together. You have always been my best friend. I know you are in a better place. Say hi to Gary. Love you, Gimi Hoffman
