Wesley Ryan Raley

1980 - 2023

Our free spirited rambling man, Wesley Ryan Raley left this world June 20th. He left knowing that he would be in a better place, where he would no longer suffer from the pain of his debilitating illness. He left knowing his family and friends supported him completely and knowing everyday he would be a part of our lives.Wes Raley lived life to the fullest. Whether he was traveling around the world, skydiving or ripping it up in the skate park, he touched everyone that he was around with his warm smile and friendly demeanor. He was an extreme athlete, an amazing soccer player (who meticulously kept every single pin he received as a kid), avid skateboard collector, surfer, loved riding any kind of motorcycle and also sky diving instructor. He accomplished getting his Honda mechanic certification at MMI and trained to be a Comcast technician.Wes is survived by his mother Debby Raley, brother Chuck Raley, wife Jenn Raley, and kids Joran, Myla and Fletcher Raley. Brother Adam Raley, partner Brook Rulifson, and kids Tobie, and Charlie Raley. His Aunt Cathy Cameron and cousins Jeremy and Kevin. By his devoted cat Taz and also by many longtime friends who were there for him through it all. Wes's last words were how much he loved his family and friends, to live life to the fullest, and to always remember Wild Uncle Wes. Wes's last wishes were for a party in the redwoods with fun, food, and laughter.Wes, The Raley family, and friends invite you to come celebrate with us. Celebration of life will be held July 23, 2023 from 10:30am-2pm at Delaveaga Park at Maple Grove in Santa Cruz, CA.
