Went to be with his lord and savior on March 15, 2006 surrounded by his family. Born in Excelsior Springs, Missouri on October 23, 1951 to the parents of William R. Hill, Sr. and Rose Hill. He leaves his wife of 29 years, Jo Ann Hill Santa Cruz, and his sons William Hill and Stephen Hill. Survived by his sisters JoAnn Hill and Dr. Victoria Hill husband Carlos daughter Rachael of San Jose. Brother Tom Hill wife Barbara nephews Sean Hill, Patrick Hill and niece Meghan Hill of Palm Springs. Bill has over 100 cousins and several aunts and uncles who will miss him. But we know there are many more relatives happy to greet him as he joins them in heaven.
Bill was a real estate agent in San Jose, and throughout his career earned many awards for his achievements in his profession. Bill has been ill for several years but always with a smile on his face and a positive outlook on his situation. Bill was a wonderful inspiration to those close to him, and he will be remembered for his generosity, selflessness, and his enthusiastic approach to life.
A memorial service will take place in early May at St. Christopher's Church in San Jose. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Head Injury Hotline

It is a privilege and an honor to say that Bill was my friend.
He will always be in my thoughts.
Bill was a person that I would tell my kids "now that what friendship is all about"
Friendships are for a lifetime, but I'll keep this one for eternity.
Call anytime, for any reason. That what friends are for.

Dear Joann, Steven, and Billy,
You are all in my heart and prayers on this very rainy day in Kauai. I know your Dad loved you so much and you were the center of his world, and conversations.
Bill influenced my change in careers and I followed in his real estate footsteps...I only hope he has time to give me some good guidance from above!
Love,
Susie Wood
