Berlene Armijo Obituary

BERLENE ARMIJO
Berlene Armijo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and nana passed away at the age of 82 surrounded by family.
She retired from the National Park Service and she spent several years volunteering at EJ Martinez Elementary. Her great grandsons Isaiah and Lucas "her boys", were her pride and joy; she cared for them after school and every summer for 13 years. She loved gardening and taking early morning walks. She was deeply loved by her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Benino and Trene Sanchez, husband Ray Armijo, and sister Cyrlia. She is survived by her children Gary Prince, Madeline Armijo and Natalie Armijo, grandchildren Chelsea, Kimberly, Michael (Cristiana), Monique, Matthew (Janae), CJ, great-grandchildren Isaiah, Lucas, Kairi, Estevan, Isaac, Amyliana, Aravis, Judah, and Levi, siblings Nellie, Gabriel and Linda and special nephew Dante.
Funeral service will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rivera Funeral Home. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. at the National Cemetery. Reception will follow at the Nancy Rodriguez Center.

My condolences to all of Berlene“s family. I have so many fond memories of her from EJ. All who knew her there, loved her. She will be very deeply missed.
