Carlos Perez Obituary
Carlos R. Perez, of Santa Fe, NM, age 44, passed away June 10, 2024. Carlos was born June 9, 1980, in Santa Fe. Carlos was a US Marines Veteran. He loved serving others and worked as a hospitality manager. Carlos was a free spirit and had a young energy. He was a big-time Steelers fan and cherished his dog, Butkus.
Carlos is survived by his mother, Angie Vigil; children, Alexa Perez Vigil and Carlos "Rocky" Perez Vigil Jr.; sisters, Cindy Ritch (David Lucero) and Kathy Garcia (Sam); uncle, Ernest Vigil; nephews, Johnny Vigil (Courtney), Eddie Webb Jr., and Jeremiah Garcia; nieces, Louise Lugo (LJ), Victoria Webb (Brandon), Ashley Ritch, and Adrianna Ritch; and 7 great nieces and nephews.
Carlos is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Virginia Garcia Vigil and Hipolito Vigil; uncles, George Vigil, Rudy Vigil, and Hipolito Benjie Vigil; and aunts, Cecilia Contreras and Frances Vigil Jordan.
His Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, June 26 at 10 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 1107 Cristo Rey St., Santa Fe, NM.

Angie and family. My deepest condolences. May son Robert and Carlos were born on same day 15-20 minutes apart. Carlos was a 9 pound baby. I worked for the City and remember Carlos coming with this dad once in a while. My son and Carlos would play together. May he rest in peace and may God bring comfort to call of you.
