So very sorry to hear of George's passing. We were classmates at PHHS. I will always remember his sports ability, cheered at most all of the games through high school and remember a lot of his outstanding plays. Always friendly. Knew Marlene and Rick well also. Keeping all of the family in my prayers, may you feel God's comfort at this sad time.

Dear Pita, Allen, and Beth my heart goes with yours. My thoughts are with you now and in weeks to come."I'm a call away", as George said to me in my hour of need. He was supportive to me and helped me start over. He laid my linoleum and carpet to size. A good hearted man with deep sincere feelings who never went home without checking on his mother and father first. Flew to the side of his children out of state in need of loving support. A man I respected for the effort he gave to whatever he was doing. He loved fishing, was quite a cabinet maker, and oh so good in sports. Some who knew him well said he could have won the decathalon. All I know is I want to see my dear brother in the resurrection.

I went to school with George he was a class behind me and his sister Marlene was in the class ahead of me. He was great in sports and I will always remember that smile. My thoughts and prayers are with the family God Bless

So sorry to hear about George's passing. We went to Pine Hill together and on a couple occasions stuck pins together at a local bowling alley on Harlem Rd in Cheektowaga. I haven't seen him since high school and we may have gone into the military about the same time. Remember his mother and father and siblings. Very nice people.

Dear Pita,Allen and Beth,I'm so sorry for your loss. I know George was your husband & father but he was not only my brother, but my "HERO" when it came to sports. George was truly a great all around athlete who excelled in every sport. In football he was a tough half back who would put his head down and charge through the line to pick up the 5 yards (& more) needed. In basketball he had a good jump shot & could just about dunk the ball.He also pitched in baseball & taught me how to throw a curve, drop & slider. In track & field he ran the 220 yard dash, threw the shot-put and did the running broad jump ( I think it's called the long jump now) His standing broad jump record of 9 feet 6 inches still stands at Cheektowaga Central High School.
I did get a chance to tell him how I felt and that I loved him when I said good bye.
Love, Rick

I do remember George very well. As a former classmate of his at Pine Hill High School we had some memorable times. Having attended several high school reunions I searched for George and was reminded that he lived in Santa Fe. The picture of him and that great smile is how I will always remember George.

At one of the many Kuehfus family reunions.

Dear Pita. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of George. Remember the fun we used to have ttogether. I can just hear George's laugh and you and I never stopped laughing. I was sorry when you moved to New Mexico. I remember only one time when you two came home to visit. Time goes so fast and then it's over. I don't think we appreciate the time we have together when we have it. We were so young together when you had Allen and Beth and we had Kellie and Kris

Dear Aunt Pita, Allen and Beth, We are so sorry that Uncle George has passed. I have many great memories of Uncle George growing up. Family reunion's and many memories at Grandma and Grandpa's house when Uncle George came back from the AirForce. He was always there when I came home to visit in the Marine Corps on leave. I loved hanging out with him. He had the funniest things to say. I will miss him.
