Gilbert truly did light up a room with joy. He was so kind to my mother and always provided a thoughtful word or laugh when I came home to visit. His family, his friends and all of Santa Fe will feel his loss always.

I want to express my condolences to all of Gilbert's family and many friends. I knew Gilbert through his long friendship with my friend Pat Chavez. Gilbert always welcomed me to New Mexico with warmth and good humor. He was a man who truly enjoyed his life and brought joy to those around him. I will miss his company. May God bless Gilbert and may he find peace in eternity.

Needless to say hearing about Gilbert's passing was quite a shock. Connie, Tony, Josephine, Maria and all of his family, our most sincere condolences to all of you. I've known Gilbert for about 40 years. He has always been very kind. I truly admired how he good he treated my mama. Know our family will miss him very much. His blood runs through your body Connie, when you miss him put your hand on your heart and feel the blood rush through your system. Talk to him and if you are very still you will hear/feel his reply. I'll say extra prayers for all of you. May our Blessed Mother wrap Her loving arms around you to comfort you.
