JOE VALDEZ Obituary

Joe Edonias Valdez Was born in Nambe, New Mexico on 9/10/1918, and transitioned to the Lord on 7/7/2010. He lost his mother at birth because of the flu pandemic of 1918, but went on to become a decorated veteran of WWII. He was a patriotic man with a great faith in God and had an infectious laughter and sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Valdez; and his son, Frank Richard Valdez. He is survived by his sister, Matilda Valdez; and his children: Elise Valdez Kennedy, Angelina Lopez, Maria Grace Valderrama, Maria Isabelle Armijo, Laura Pzepiora, Sonny Valdez, Mattie Valdez, and all their children and grandchildren collectively. He will be missed immensely by those who were close to him and by those to whom he gave the gift of laughter and love.
