JUAN RIVERA Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Juan D. Rivera, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, who was called home by our Heavenly Father on October 18, 2023, after a lengthy illness. He leaves behind a loving family and friends, to whom he brought joy and happiness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Rosa Rivera, sister, Romie and brother-in-law, Gilbert Archunde.
He is survived by his spouse of 59 years, Mabel, and children, Anna, Estevan, Enrique and (Alex) Rivera. Grandchildren: Sophia Buchan, Reina and Elisa Rivera. Sisters: Erlinda and Susan Rivera, many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the many Giving Nurses for their impeccable kindness, compassion, and loving care they brought into our home and shared with Juan.
Services will be on November 3, 2023, at St. Anthony's Parish, with Rosary at 10:00am, followed by Mass at 11:00am and burial at Pecos Cemetery.

I BELEAVE I AM A COUSIN OF THE RIVERA,S MY GRANDFATHER WAS BERNADINO RIVERA AND CORNELLLO RIVERA AND EDUINA RIVERA OF PECOS. YOU ALL LIVED ON THE EASTSIDE OF PECOS.MY DAD WAS LEON RIVERA. I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, MY NAME IS LOUIE RIVERA LEON WAS MY DAD.I CANT REMEMBER JUANS SISTERS NAMES!!! I LIVE IN SANTA FE LEAVE ME A MESSAGE.

To Johns family I send a cup of sunshine and comfort on the loss of one good man. Growing up in East Pecos I came to know the family well. Together we learned that we have Heaven's own word for what we believe of Heaven. Juanito is now with our precious Lord. Blessings to you all.
