MARIA SUMPTER Obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear sister and mother, Maria Frances Sumpter who passed away, on August 15, 2021, in Tucson, Arizona where she resided with her daughter, Gloria Lucero Sumpter. She was born August 2, 1943, to Antonio and Isabel Dominguez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Allen Dominguez, sister Maria Noel, and brother Anthony Dominguez. She is survived by her daughter Gloria, brother Gilbert Dominguez, and sisters Dolores Madrid, Ann Martinez, Priscilla Montoya, and numerous nieces and nephews.
We look forward to Jehovah's Kingdom where there will be no more suffering. Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.

Frances, we always laughingly got along, and cared for each other dearly. I was blessed to speak to you just before your passing, and even though you couldn't respond at the time, I know that you heard me. I cried soon after, but now I am joy, knowing that God in His Mercy always gives us His ear. Rest In Peace Tia. Love to you Gloria.

I worked with Maria when she was a CO in Santa Fe. That was 30 years ago; and, to this day I thought of her so many times with the fond memories of way back when. She was a true forever friend and I am saddened to hear of her death. RIP my friend!
