PHILLIP THOMAS MONTOYA

PHILLIP THOMAS MONTOYA Phillip Thomas Montoya, born in Santa Fe on July 27,1949 was taken home to the LORD on January 10, 2013. He was a lifelong resident of Santa Fe. He spent his life as an electrical contractor and in the last 20 years he sold Kona Coffee. His friends and family called him the "Coffeeman", a nickname given to him 20 years ago in Hawaii. Phillip loved life and was full of love. He was a fun loving man who had a laugh and joke for everyone. Phillip was a people person who helped anyone he could, everywhere he went. He was hard working, generous, passionate, lived his life to the fullest. Phillip was completely devoted to his family and he taught old fashion good values to his children and grandchildren. One of his greatest accomplishments in life is that his children actually practice and live their lives with those values. He loved to fish and take his sons and grandsons camping. Phillip was an exceptional man and there are not enough words to describe him. He was proceeded in death by his father, Ricardo; his mother, Fidelia; and his brothers: Andrew, and Dickie (Ricardo). He is survived by his wife and soulmate, Wendy; his children: Phillip, Rachael and her husband Ricardo Anaya, Sean and Ryan; his step-daughters Kami and Riesha; his grandchildren: Gary Thomas, Micah, Jade, Christian, Noah, and Ezra; his brothers and sisters: Jane and her husband, Philip Lucero, Dolores and husband Robert Peguero, Beatrice and her husband Toby Garcia, Patricia and her husband Ivan Rane, Peter and his wife Mary, Robert and his wife Franchecsa; several nephews and nieces, A memorial service in celebration of his LIfe will be announced in the future. Phillip will be missed more than our words can express. WE LOVE YOU PHILLIP, HUSBAND, DAD, GRANDPA, BROTHER, AND FRIEND.
