ZANE TORRES
Zane Maximiliano Torres, 21, passed away at his mother's Glorieta home Monday, September 19, 2022. He was born October 4, 2000 in Miami, FL to Kasey Cosley and Rafael Torres. His beloved cousin, Ryan Abreu, and his grandfather Rafael Torres Sr., preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother, Kasey Cosley, and his father, Rafael Torres; his brother, Jake Cosley; his cousins, Kristen Abreu and Brandon Briseno, his aunts Arleen Abreu and Brandy Briseño, his grandparents Joanna and Joe Alexander, and Isela Torres, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Zane had a kind and compassionate heart full of love and care for his family and friends. He was a great friend and advocate for animals of every sort. These attributes translated to his work in service to our country in the US Navy, where he served as a Master of Arms in Harbor Security at Kitsap Naval Base in Silverdale, WA. Zane had a gentle spirit and a sly sense of humor. He always looked out for, and stuck up for, those less fortunate than him. He was a loyal friend, son, brother and cousin. His family was the most important thing to him, and he is loved and cherished and missed desperately by all who knew Zane.
Zane's ashes will be interred at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the military honors due to him on Friday, April 21st at 12:30 PM.
