Juan Parra Obituary

JUAN MANUEL PARRA
1959-2008

Juan Manuel Parra born March 29, 1959 and passed away on January 10, 2008. A great man in all aspects, who was greatly loved and will be missed by all. Manuel had two great loves in his life….his family and his work. Since the age of 17 Manuel worked for Teixeira Farms where he continued to be employed up until the day of his passing. He was a natural at agriculture and motivated his workers. As much as he enjoyed his work he loved his time with his family even more.
The greatest testament of that was to see how much his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews always loved to play with him and be at his side. He will always be their cowboy.
Manuel is survived by his wife Graciela Parra, his children Lisa Marie and Juanito Parra, grandchildren Sidney, Allen, and Audrey Vega. His parents Manuel and Maria de Jesus Parra, brothers David and Victor Parra, sisters Luz Reyes, Elvia Zuniga, Nena Ortega, and Ursula Guerrero as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to: Manuel Parra 117 Nelson Drive, Guadalupe, CA 93434.
All services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Viewing will be Wednesday, January 16, 2008 starting at 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Rosary will be at 6:00 pm and Mass will be on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 10:00 am and burial will follow in the Guadalupe Cemetery.

Dearest Gracie,
May it comfort you to know that death cannot diminish the important ways your husband touched your life, that grief cannot take away the happiness you shared, that sorrow will fade in time... but love remains forever.
