Judith Burdick

April 9, 1941 - February 5, 2025

Nipomo - Judith Williams Burdick (83) of Nipomo, CA passed away on February 5th after a year long battle with cancer. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky in 1941 to John and Madge Williams. After a brief stop in Indianapolis, she spent the rest of her early years growing up just outside Detroit, Michigan. She was an honor student at Chamberlin Retail College in Boston and then retuned to Michigan where she met her future husband Norman Richard Burdick. They were married in 1963 and moved to the Bay Area of California to start their lives and raise a family. She returned to the workforce in the early 80 's where she was able to use her management and organization skills eventually rising to the position of General Manager for a large medical facility in Mountain View, CA. Norm and Judy retired in Nipomo in 1999 quickly becoming active members of the Blacklake Community. She was preceded in death by her husband after 56 years of marriage and continued living in Nipomo until her passing. She is survived by her sons John and wife Noelle (Tustin Ranch) and Chris and wife Pamela (Santa Maria) and her four grandchildren (Justin, Bradley, Alexa and Sean). Judith was also very active with various groups volunteering her time and giving back to the community. She loved playing Bridge, Hand and Foot, Canasta, Tiles and numerous other card/board games with her family and friends. Judith had an impact on everyone she met and carried herself with Grace and Dignity before and during her battle with cancer. A Celebration of Judith's life with be held at the Oaks in Nipomo on April 9, 2025 at 2pm.
