March 2, 1951 - April 4, 2025
Orcutt - Kenneth Koski - A life well lived and cut short by cancer.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Summer at Jalama Beach, CA.
Ken is survived by his wife, Darla Koski; brother, Mike Koski; daughter Rachelle Killackey (Kristopher); Granddaughters Kailey and Rebecca Killackey. Both granddaughters' were the light of his life.
Predeceased family members: Emil, Evelyn, Steve and Don Koski.

Ken was a friend from our days at righetti....we played sports together... some may forget that he went to cal on a scholarship right out of high school...but surfing was his love...San Diego state was his perfect spot to land after Cal...condolences to his family

Ken you were such a joy to have on our baseball team in our younger years. You always had a smile on your face. I saw you later in life, and you had that same pleasant demeanor. You will be missed. I'm sure you will be member of the baseball and football teams in heaven. RIP.

Ken was one of the local surfing elders. He named me little Mcgila he was always stoked but he is really stoked now that he is in Gods presence. may God comfort the family in this time

So sorry to hear that Ken the Whale as he was known by all his surfing buddies has passed away I know he is up in heaven surfing perfect waves everyday. My name is Alan Griffin I have been privileged to have known all the Koskis since the early 1960s surfing was the glue that brought us all together unfortunately there are not many of us left one day we will all be together surfing those perfect waves in heaven. Oh Darla,
Cancer sucks. I'm so sorry.
God never allows the adversary to cause us suffering beyond what we can bear, but makes a way for us to escape it by the Return of Christ and the resurrection, where Ken will receive a new body, that will will be happy, healthy and perfect.
We on the earth just have to wait, and that can be the hardest part.
Curtis and I sure enjoyed partying with you two at the summer parties, and will keep that vision in our memories.
