Richard Armenta Obituary
1954 - 2022
Richard Gomez Armenta, 67, of Guadalupe, Ca passed away on February 13th 2022 at home after battling a rare form of cancer.
Richard was born on March 12, 1954 to Vincent and Marcella Armenta in Santa Maria, Ca. After graduating high school, he obtained his contractor's license and worked alongside his dad and brothers with their family-owned construction company A&A Concrete.
Richard met Minnie Tobias and embraced her daughter Nikki as his own. They went on to have four children together, Aileen, Valerie, Gabriel and Michael. Years after their separation he met the love of his life Vanessa Olachea, the mother of his youngest son Adrian.
During his short retirement he enjoyed passing the time watching TikTok's, tutoring at the Boys and Girls Club, cooking and spending time with his granddaughters Victoria and Vivianna. He was a vivacious reader when it came to Politics, Sports and Science. He loved Astronomy and was extremely witty, those closest knew him as a jokester.
Richard was preceded in death by his father Vincent Armenta, his sister Alma Taylor and brother Tony Armenta.
He is survived by his mother Marcella Armenta, brothers Vincent Jr., Eddie, Rudy and Leroy, his sisters Ana, Adella, and Angie, his children; Nikki, Aileen, Valerie, Gabriel, Michael, Adrian, and many grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed and although he wasn't a man of many words, he had a quiet dignity about him and a lot of love for his family.
The family will be having a private memorial service and are thankful for the love and support.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Armenta family, Richard will be missed, even though we are miles apart, he has always been there for me, he could make me laugh like no one else, he made me always feel safe, and loved.
