A. Mark HauserA. Mark Hauser, 62, passed away Wednesday, July 18th 2018, at his home in Wilmington, NC. Mark was born in Rockville Centre to Albert and Marion Hauser and grew up on Long Island. He graduated from Bayport-Blue Point High School and later from Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy. He worked as an engineer and manager at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory (KAPL) in West Milton, NY for many years, living in Ballston Spa with his wife and two children. He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, coaching and playing soccer, and volunteering with the KAPL NOVA society. He was predeceased by his father Albert and his brother Jeffrey. He is survived by his mother, Marion; his first wife, Claudia; his children, Amy Lyndaker of Ithaca and Brian Hauser (Nicole) of Johnstown; his granddaughter, Kaylee; his brothers, Thomas Hauser (Ginny) and Douglas Hauser (Jen); his second wife, Susan Goldhorn; stepsons and stepgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering is planned.
