Agnes L. CovellSARATOGA SPRINGS - Agnes L. Covell passed away peacefully at Glendale Nursing Home, Scotia, NY on March 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was 94 years old. Born on July 30, 1923 in Saratoga Springs, NY, she was the daughter of the late John Gailor and Lillian Sullivan Gailor. Agnes worked for many years at Menges & Curtis Pharmacy in Saratoga Springs and for the Saratoga Springs City School District. Agnes loved spending time with her sons, Ed and Donnie. She loved to sit on her porch, watching the birds and visiting with her friends and family. Agnes enjoyed her Saturday morning trips to the hairdresser with her granddaughter and car rides around the city on a sunny afternoon. She loved going out to lunch at Friendly's, enjoying a "happy ending Sundae" to satisfy her sweet-tooth. Nannie, as she was known to many, was sweet and sassy and that's what everyone loved most about her. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren. She will now rest in peace, reunited with those that passed before her. Agnes is predeceased by her husband Emmett Covell. She is also predeceased by her sons, Donald Covell, Edward (Dawn) Covell, her infant daughter Agnes Lillian, her sisters Dorothy (Robert) Ruhle, Alice (John) Spinelli, Rita (Paul) Hibala, Joan Gailor, Marion Dejnozka and Eleanor (Walter) Mason, and her brother John (Joan) Gailor, Jr. Agnes will be sadly missed by her daughter in-law, Dawn Covell, her grandchildren Meredith (Wally)Rumpf, Chad Covell, Meghan Covell (John Bonarrigo), Kristin Gaba, Heather Gaba and her great-grandchildren Morgan Rumpf, Haley Rumpf, Justin Babcock, Jr., Angelina Bonarrigo, Dominic Bonarrigo. Agnes will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We would like to thank the doctor, nurses and aides at Glendale Nursing home. We would like to especially thank Amy, Wanda, Vicky and Bridgett who took such good care of her during her time at Glendale.
