Doris Watters

Doris Dean Watters MALTA - Doris Dean Watters passed away on March 31, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Robert watters for 52 years until his death in 2000. She is the daughter of the late William I. and Margot Larson Dean. Doris was a long time resident of Delmar and most recently resided at the Home of the Good Shepard in Malta. She was born on July 1, 1927 in the Bronx and was raised in Queens Village, N.Y. Doris was a long time member of the Nathaniel Adams Blanchard Post #1040 in Delmar. She was the Poppy Chairman for many years and the secretary for the shuffleboard league. Doris loved to cook and hang out with her very large family. She loved to laugh and an occasional glass of Scotch. She is survived by her children, Linda (Michael) McGraw, William (Carol) Watters, Joanne (Guy) Pellerin, Nancy (Timothy) Jordan. Also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews. The family would like to thank the Home of the Good Shepard and Saratoga Hospice for the loving care that she received.
