Paul C. Gillingham

Paul C. Gillingham Buffalo Junction, VaPaul C. Gillingham, 68, of Buffalo Junction, Va., formerly of Saratoga Springs, died peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2011, in the loving company of his family. Paul' was born in Burnt Hills, NY on October 27: 1942, a sorrof'the late Ced'ric Gillingham and Eileen Gillingham McLean. He was also predeceased by his brother, Frederick. Paul was a professional musician ,and~ as a member ofa local group, The Casuals, became well known throughout the area. He was also an area businessman, having owned the Crystal Mansion Boutiques in the Tri-City region and-The Mansion- Lounge in \Vildwood" , NJ. At the time of his death, he and his wife Dee owned and operated the Cherry Hill Farm Bed &Breakfast Inn-in Virginia. Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Dee Gillingham, stepdaughter Cheryl O'Brien of Nelson, Va., Stepson Bill (Jen) Lewan of Scranton, Pa., sisters Carol (Brian) Austin of Queensbury,. Janice (Rodney) Brooks of Gansevoort, Patricia (Owen) DiLouieof Ocala, fl.., Joyce (Jon) Silverman and Beth Gillingham of Clearwater, Fl., and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for frienctsand family was held at the Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville, Va. in May. Memorial contributions in Paul's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
