We want to extend our deepest sympathy to Bob's family for their loss. We reside in the same neighborhood as Bob and Melanie & remember the first time we met him. He was outside with his adorable Pomeranian, Molly. Our dog, Buddy, adored Molly! We will miss seeing Bob drive through the neighborhood, or sitting by the pool, smiling and waving to us! Rest in peace, Bob Murphy.

My condolences to the Bob Murphy family...grew up in same Arbor Hill neighbor-hood as Bob...he was my high school football--basketball coach at CBA Albany...played basketball with him at the CYO Albany...semi-pro league in Cohoes...great person...great talent...RIP Murph

My condolences to his family. Coach Murph was my basketball and baseball coach at Cohoes High. I'm not sure I ever got to thank him for his guidance in both sports and life. He was a great coach, and a good friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I had the pleasure of working with Bob at the high school for many years. He had a great sense of humor, and was so down-to-earth, he always made you feel comfortable, regardless of circumstances. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing, and I want to extend my condolences to his family. Diane Poma

I was a long time Shirley's diner waitress and rarely did a day go by that Bob didn't come in. Always nice to talk too and visited with many of the other regulars. Prayers for the family for this loss

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. We were both members of Van Schaick and served on the VSICC board together. A great, outgoing, warm hearted, friendly individual. He will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune to know him, work with him, share a round of golf with him and call him friend.

Bob "Coach" Murphy was one of the first golfers I met after joining McGregor in 1998. He was a joy to play with and even better to talk with...he had a way of making you feel welcome. I will greatly miss seeing him early every morning on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays...even if he wasn't playing. We send our condolences to his many family members with assurances that he will not be forgotten.

The Murphy family,
Sorry to hear about Bob's passing. BBob was teaching and coaching at CBA when I was a student and athelete there. I used to run into Bob numerous times when I reffed both football and basketball in the Saratoga area. Bob was a super nice guy who will be sorely missed.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
