Timothy S. Flewelling

CORINTH - Timothy S. Flewelling, 40, of Lemont Avenue died unexpectedly Saturday, March 17, 2012.
Born March 21, 1971, he was the son of the late Edwin and Sharon (Plude) Flewelling.
Tim graduated from Corinth High School in 1989 and attended SUNY Brockport for a few years.
He married Michelle M. Sherman on Sept. 10, 2005, in Corinth, and the couple had resided in Corinth for several years.
Tim was first employed at International Paper Co. in Corinth for a few years. He was employed as a driver for the Stewart's Shops Corp. for the past 11 years.
He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying golfing, hunting, camping, hiking and fishing. During his youth, he enjoyed wrestling for his high school and would later help coach the team as an assistant.
Tim loved his family and was a good father to his daughters, whom he adored.
Affectionately known to some of his friends as Flewie, Tim was one of the most quick-witted, funny and fun-loving people in the world. He always found a way to inject humor into every situation, whether to lighten the moment or simply to make someone laugh.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by two sisters, Sue DeVoe and Mary Kay Flewelling.
Survivors, besides his wife of six years, include two daughters, Sophia and Sidney Flewelling of Corinth; four siblings, Kathie Duncan and her husband, Brian, of Queensbury, Julie Dibble and her husband, Jack, of Selkirk, Brian Flewelling and his wife, Angel, of Beaufort, S.C., and Jane Rosati and her husband, Dino, of Wilton; his mother and father-in-law, Denise and Marty Sherman of Queensbury; one brother-in-law, Greg DeVoe of Dover, Del.; one sister-in-law, Sarah Nagel and her husband, Clay, of Ballston Spa; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Holy Mother and Child Parish, 407 Palmer Ave., Corinth, with the Rev. Kenneth Swain, pastor, officiating.
Following the Mass, friends and family are invited to a reception at the church's fellowship hall.
A private committal will be held at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Densmore Funeral Home Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth.
