Agnes Verbout, age 93, of Sterling, died Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at her home.
Agnes was born February 20, 1929 in Stephen, MN, the daughter of Kazemer and Miellie (Wojak) Rajnowski. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling. Agnes was united in marriage to Louis Verbout on September 16, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2021.
She is survived by her sons, Roger (Jane) Verbout of Sterling and James (Loretta) Verbout of Rochester, MN and four grandchildren, Kimberly (Ryan) Westbrock, Brandon (Laura) Verbout-Kveene, David Verbout, and Marty Verbout; one great granddaughter, Everly Verbout-Kveene; siblings, Antoinette Richter of Sterling, Shirley (Jerome) Richter of MN, and Sylvester Rajnowski of AR; and her caregiver, Irena Szkodzinska.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM with The Very Reverend James R. Keenan officiating. Burial will conclude at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church.

So sorry to hear about Agnes passing she was a great woman. I had so much fun with her, she was always so fixed up and looked so beautiful,enjoyed her laughter and smiles,always seen them together in mass.She will be missed.
