Alex T. 'Tommy' Hall II

Born: October 8, 1968; Chicago

Died: June 13, 2021; Elgin

CARPENTERSVILLE, IL – Alex Thomas "Tommy" Hall II, 52 of Carpentersville, IL, died Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin.

Tommy was born on October 8, 1968 in Chicago, the son of Alex Thomas "Tom" and Betty (Fox) Hall. He was self-employed as a relocation specialist. Tommy loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, kayaking, gardening, and grilling. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two boys who he was a proud, single father to and also a father figure to many others.

Survivors include his mother, Betty of Carpentersville; two sons, Alex Thomas Hall III of Carpentersville and Raymond Lee Hall of Woodstock; one daughter, Jennifer (Shane) Kosier of Savanna; one brother, Timothy (Faith-Ann) Hall of Dixon; two sisters, Josette Wyatt of Rock Falls and Nicole Lisa (Michael) Lanning of Grand Detour; three grandchildren, Autumn, Adam, and Owen; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will conclude at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.

A memorial has been established.
