Blanche Heilgeist age 77 of Dixon died Thursday May 12, 2022 at OSF St Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. She was born April 27, 1945 in Dixon the daughter of William and Catherine (Garland) Heilgeist. Blanche had worked at Blackhawk Photo Mount, Freeman Shoe and had also helped on the family farm.
She was preceded in death by two brothers William and Joseph Heilgeist and one sister Rita McConnell.
Blanche is survived by her longtime companion Billie Allen of Dixon, sisters in law Dolores Heilgeist of Dixon, Charmaine Heilgeist of Sterling, five nieces and nephews Mike Miller, Billy (Gaye) Miller, Sandy (Rick) Werner, Sue (Scott) Hodapp, Laura O'Brien and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Thursday May 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Harmon, IL. Visitation will be on Thursday May 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. Condolences can be sent at www.thejonesfh.com
