Glen Grant Robison age 95 of Amboy passed away on Friday Oct. 31, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on Aug. 15, 1930 in Peru, KS the son of Glen A. and Pearl (Gassett) Robison. Glen was a Plumber and Pipe Fitter and member of the Local 597 for 73 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Glen was a member of the American Legion, Harmon First Methodist Church, Amboy Lions Club, the Masons, and was active in the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. He married Colleen Taylor on Dec. 31, 1950 in Lenapah, OK. Glen loved his children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed camping and going on cruises. He also loved the neighborhood children who called him Grandpa. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Javene Heckman, a brother in infancy Jimmy Dean Robison, and one brother Verla Robison. Glen is survived by his wife Colleen, children Taylor (Nancy) Robison of Cypress TX, Glen A. Robison of Amboy, four grandchildren Timothy (Holly) Robison, Kari (Ross) Harrison, Ashley (Chad) Noble, Michelle (Mark) Eisenberg, 11 great grandchildren Kaleb Robison, Kaitlynn Robison, Kayden Robison, Kaylee Robison, Taylor Harrison, Benjamin Harrison, Katherine Harrison, Caiden Noble, Camryn Noble, James Eisenberg, Owen Eisenberg, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Saturday Nov. 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Harmon First Methodist Church in Harmon, IL. Burial will follow at Prairie Repose Cemetery in Amboy. Visitation will be on Saturday Nov. 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Harmon First Methodist Church. Memorial donation in Glens memory can be made to Harmon First Methodist Church in Harmon, IL and Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy.
