Jeanette L. Dempsey, 71, of Rock Falls, IL died Thursday February 27, 2025 in Mesa, Az.
Born on December 20, 1953 in Sterling, IL. Daughter of Michael J. and Anna (Panici) Filippi.
Jean married Patrick E. Dempsey of Dixon, IL on October 16, 1976 and had a life together the last 48 years.
Jean was employed by Northwestern Steal and Wire and retired from Sterling Barber Shop.
She was an avid Chicago Bears Fan!
Jean is survived and missed by her Husband Pat, Rock Falls, IL. Her Mother Anna Filippi. One Sister Rose (Charles) Schuchard. Two Brothers Michael A (Cathrine) Filippi, Timothy J Filippi (Kari Folkers). Several Nieces, Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews and her beloved dog Frankie.
She was preceded in death by her Father and one Nephew (Dustin Schuchard).
Cremation rites have been accorded.

i worked with Jeanette at the mill, otherwise our paths would of never crossed. She was small by nature, but mighty!I also knew Jeanettes' father and brother,Mike and Richard, as they worked at Chicago-Northwestern Railroad

Dear Pat, Mrs. Fillipi, Rose, Mike and Tim,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jean. She was a dear, sweet friend that I shared many happy times with. I´ll remember always the fun we shared cheering our Bears on to victory. It seems like yesterday, but it was 40 years ago! We will cheer those Bears on for you this year, Jean and will see you on the other side!
