SUSAN E. BART, 63, of Morrison, IL, died Sunday, August 10, 2025.

Susan was born on January 20, 1962, in Streator, IL, to Alphy and Betty (Metz) Menold. She grew up in Princeville, IL, where she attended local schools and graduated from Princeville High School. In her early years, Susan worked at Princeville Canning Company. She later owned and operated AKB Transportation in the Rockford, IL, area. On January 21, 2008, she married William Bart Sr. in Las Vegas, NV. Susan had a love for cars, especially drag racing, and enjoyed spending time at the drag strip. She was an avid music lover and a devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints football team. Susan will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and contagious laughter, which brought warmth and joy to all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, William Bart Sr. of Morrison, IL; one daughter, Katelyn Turner of Princeville, IL; two sons, Adam Turner of Galva, IL, and Bret (Eric) Turner of San Diego, CA; one stepdaughter, Lauren Bart of Brooklyn, NY; two stepsons, William Bart Jr. of Rockford, IL, and Ryan Bart of Avon Lake, OH; three grandchildren, Caleb and Jordan Turner, and Zion Bart; her mother, Betty Menold of Princeville, IL; two sisters, Diane Menold of Princeville, IL, and Patti (Eric) Grube of Minneapolis, MN; and one brother, Ken (Angie) Menold of Germantown Hills, IL.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alphy Menold, and her parents-in-law, Richard and Mardell Bart.
