Susanne Hondley, 91 of Rock Falls died Sunday October 26, 2025 at Resthave Home.
She was born on July 5, 1934 in Fort Wayne, IN the daughter of Milton and Edna (Duemong) Skelton. She married Robert Hondley on May 28, 1983. He died preceded her in death. Sue had worked at Illinois Bell Telephone for 35 years. She was a member of the Sterling American Legion Auxiliary having served as a past president ad Chaplain. She had enjoyed crafting in her later years.
Survivors include: Carol (Jim) Fox; Lisa and Addison Campbell; Kathi (Jim) and Roady Johnson; Debbie Cheshire.
Per her request there will be no services and burial took place at Coloma Twp Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory.
Memorials may be directed in her memory to Rock River Hospice & Home.
The survivors would like to thank Resthave Home and staff for the wonderful care Susie received over the past 2 years.
