Thomas A. Walters, 82, of Rock Falls, died on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Allure of Prophetstown.
Tom was born on April 21, 1942, in Searcy, Arkansas, the son of Oscar and Della (Reed) Walters. He was a Veteran and he served in the United States Army. He later became a truck driver and farmer. Thomas enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping. He will be missed dearly.
Survivors include his significant other, Nancy Francis of Rock Falls; stepdaughter, Michelle (Troy Barker) Pyskaty of Rock Falls; grandchild, Clayton Pyskaty; four nephews, Sam (Patsy) Skinner of Rock Falls, Royce (Sandy) Skinner of Sterling, JR (Cathy) Skinner of Sterling, Joe (Bernadette) Skinner of Chicago; three great nieces, Tammy Tompkins, Treava Sliger, and Tina Skinner all of Rock falls; two great nephews, Terry McCollum of Amboy and Tony Skinner of Rock Falls; several great-great nieces and nephews; just too many loved ones to list.
He was preceded in death by his parents; late wife, Joyce Walters; four sisters, Zenith Skinner, Lilly Ward, Jerri Conrad, Dee Johnson; three brothers, O.C. Walters, Bobby Walters, Danny Walters; two nephews, Gale and Gerald Skinner; one great nephew, Keith Tompkins.
There will be no services at this time. Cremation rites have been accorded.
